Meet Our Leadership Team
Brian started with the company in 1981 as a senior engineer and moved through progressive levels of responsibility in technical and operational roles. He has served in his current position since May 2015. Brian’s prior experience includes three years in a research position with Computing Devices Company, a Canadian defense systems contractor, and three years as vice president of Engineering and Operations with Intelligent Detection Systems Inc. where he was responsible for development of advanced trace chemical detection systems used for detection of explosives and narcotics. Brian is a member of the IEEE and has served on the Executive Committee of the IEEE International Carnahan Conference on Security Technology since 2000. Brian holds a B.A.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto.
Jeremy Weese, PEng
Senior Vice President
and Chief Operating Officer
Jeremy joined the company in 1999 in a design engineering role. During his tenure, Jeremy has moved through progressive levels of responsibility within the research and development department. Prior to becoming SVP and COO, Jeremy was responsible for the company’s product portfolio and research and development activities as vice president of engineering. Jeremy has served in his current role as senior vice president and chief operating officer since April 2016. He is a Professional Engineer and member of the IEEE. Jeremy holds a B.A.Sc. in Computer Engineering (magna cum laude) from the University of Ottawa.
Vice President, Operations
Eleanor joined Senstar in December 1984. During her time at Senstar, Eleanor has worked in a variety of different roles including project management, customer service and communications, sales forecasting, sales and contract administration, order entry, logistics, including purchasing and inventory management, production planning, quality assurance, and manufacturing. Eleanor holds an administrative diploma from Sir Sandford Fleming College in Peterborough, Ontario.
Vice President, Sales, APAC
Gord joined the company in 1995. Originally responsible for product sales in Canada, the Middle East and Africa, Gord later assumed responsibility for strategic OEM accounts and Asia. In 2016, Gord was appointed to his current role, in which he is responsible for establishing and leading a support and sales team to better serve the high growth Asia Pacific market. Gord is an engineering graduate of the Royal Military College of Canada and served 25 years in the Royal Canadian Air Force.
Vice President, Software Engineering
Bob is a proven, results-driven, respectful and positive leader of small and large-scale engineering teams who joined Senstar in 2019. Bob brings a demonstrated ability to formulate, execute and deliver products. He specializes in optimizing team performance by leveraging the latest techniques and technology, thoughtful talent management, and being fully engaged with all product stake holders including product management, customers and executives. With 25 years of experience in digital media, Bob has driven local and international development teams toward valuable industry solutions, including IP-enabled workflows, asset management systems, video servers, on-air branding and graphics, and multi-screen digital signage displays. Previously, Bob held key roles as Vice President of Engineering and General Manager and was a lead software developer at a ground-breaking CG technology company and managed the integration of core IP into more than 20 video editing products worldwide.
Fabien joined the company in 2018 from a major UK-based video security solution provider. Prior to this he worked with several companies in the areas of video management, IP video surveillance, intrusion detection, access control and system integration. He has extensive experience in sales management with many years of responsibility for the EMEA region. Fabien has a technical background with an M.Sc. in telecom engineering, as well as a Masters in Management and Strategy of International Business. He speaks French, English, Spanish, and Italian, and has a working knowledge of Dutch.
Vice President, Finance
Alicia is responsible for global accounting, financial reporting and controls and financial planning and analysis. Her career spans 20 years of extensive and varied experience in financial management and business leadership in high tech corporations with global development and manufacturing capabilities. Prior to joining Senstar in July 2019, Alicia served in Group Controller roles overseeing worldwide operations for a global defense company for nearly a decade. She also contributed as a Director within the company’s Supply Chain and Customer Services functions. She has also held progressive financial management positions in both software development and conglomerate contract manufacturing companies. Alicia is a CPA, CGA in Canada. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Ottawa.
Vice President, Sales, North America
Kristen joined the company in 2019. Kristen has close to 20 years of experience in senior management in the US and Canada, successfully working for different enterprises in business development and executive sales roles. In particular, she has a solid knowledge of IP cameras and their associated products.
Vice President, Engineering
Bill’s passion for electronics design and computing began in the 80s at the command line of the Commodore64 and in the riveting texts of Forrest M. Mims. Through a cutting-edge technological arts program in secondary school he gained deep academic and empirical insights in the electronics field and was immediately hooked. Study of Electrical Engineering was an obvious path. Following a four-year role in the development of optical multiplexing and video compression equipment, he joined Senstar in 2003 as a sensor developer with a focus on high speed digital design and digital signal processing. During his tenure, he has moved through progressive levels of responsibility within the research and development department. Bill has served in his current role as Vice President of Engineering since April 2016. He holds a B.A.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Ottawa.
