The company\u202fwas established in 1981 with the objective\u202fof bringing\u202ftechnologies originally targeted for military applications to the commercial security market. With just seven employees,\u202fSenstar\u202fintroduced its first product,\u202fSentrax, a buried cable perimeter security technology, in September 1982.
