Our Social Responsibility
Senstar believes we have a responsibility to effectively serve our customers, while respecting the resource needs of future generations. From our own operations to members of our supply chain, we comply with all necessary regulations and strive to exceed them. We consider environmental sustainability at all our facilities, as part of all our processes, and in the development of all our products.
Senstar is committed to:
- Designing products that are environmentally-friendly. As an example, the Senstar LM100 has received a fixture seal of approval from the International Dark Skies Association because it reduces light pollution.
- Using components and design specifications in the products we build that have minimal adverse impact on the environment, including meeting REACH compliance
- Working with supply chain partners who can provide sustainable components
- Utilizing process monitoring technology in our manufacturing facility to optimize yield and reduce scrap
- Engaging in practices such as recycling, and reducing energy and water consumption
