You joined Senstar in 2018 with many years of experience in security. What drew you to Senstar?

Headshot of Senstar's new Managing Director Fabian HaubertI was excited to be a part of Senstar’s incredible technological and commercial potential to differentiate itself from the competition as the worldwide leader of advanced security solutions in targeted vertical markets.

Senstar’s 40-year track record; its unique perimeter intrusion, video management software and video analytics technologies; its knowledgeable and ambitious R&D team; and its strong, internationally distributed sales and support teams, makes it a natural candidate to play a leading role in the security solutions world. With Senstar focusing on value added hardware and software, the company is positioning itself away from commodity selling, and instead on providing full comprehensive, integrated physical security solutions.

Two years later, you moved your family from France to become Managing Director of Senstar, to help lead the company and direct its future. What do you see for Senstar in the coming years?

I see Senstar becoming a leader in providing Intelligent security, safety and operational solutions to the oil and gas, utilities, corrections, and logistics markets.

Senstar is currently making great strides in the development of revolutionary physical security solutions, by combining its unique knowledge and legacy of traditional perimeter intrusion detection and digital video management technologies with state-of-the-art cloud, connected object, deep learning analytics and big data technologies.

Along with restructuring of sales and support teams, Senstar has all the pieces in place to achieve its ambitious targets and goals over the coming years.

What do you think has been Senstar’s greatest achievement in the past 40 years and why?

Its people and its culture! Senstar is a unique family, and I am so lucky, happy and proud to be a part of it. It is a mix of passionate, generous, highly knowledgeable, hard working, dedicated, inventive and ambitious people, all working towards a common goal of providing top quality products and services.

Proof of this legacy is that a number Senstar employees have been with the company for decades, transferring their knowledge and values to younger generations who in turn bring new ideas, technologies, and challenges to the table.

This strong base of knowledge combined with the forward-thinking abilities of new employees provide me the confidence that on top of all past and present successes, the best is yet to come.
