PAS
Personal alarm system for emergency response
The Personal Alarm System (PAS) is an ultrasonic emergency notification / communication system. The exact location of an individual moving throughout a facility is immediately determined when he or she activates their personal alarm transmitter (PAT) device. Through integration with an overall security management system the location of the individual requiring aide can be graphically represented on a map type display at a central control location. One or more receivers are installed in each room or hallway area that the system is required to cover. A microphone on the receiver can forward audio to the central control. The receiver can optionally be provided with a video camera as well.

Flare®
Personal emergency locating system
To help keep personnel working in high-threat environments safe, the Flare® emergency alarm system instantly sends a call for help at the touch of a button. Flare informs security personnel of the precise location of the emergency. When a user raises an alarm by activating his / her Personal Protection Device (PPD) the PPD emits an RF signal that is picked up by Flare sensors installed in walls or ceilings. The Flare sensors signal the alarm condition to the central control computer running user-interface software which displays the alarm, its location and the PPD identification number. Flare is ideal for individuals who work in an environment where their safety could be threatened by physical assault, sudden illness or an accident.

Flash™
A radio-frequency based emergency notification system
To help keep personnel working in high-threat environments safe, the Flash™ emergency alarm system instantly sends a call for help at the touch of a button. When a user causes an alarm by activating his / her Personal Protection Device (PPD) the PPD emits an RF signal that is picked up by Flash sensors installed in wall or ceiling spaces. The Flash sensors in turn signal the alarm condition to the central control computer running Flash user-interface software. The alarm and PPD is displayed to security personnel. Flash is ideal for individuals who work in an environment where their safety could be threatened by physical assault, sudden illness or an accident.
Documentation
StarPAS
StarPAS is an ultrasonic based emergency notification system. Individuals moving throughout a facility can immediately identify their exact location in a crisis via the transmitter carried with them. Unlike radio signals (RF), ultrasonic signals do not penetrate walls, ceilings or floors. Therefore, the transmission / reception is confined to the immediate area of the transmitter and there is no confusion regarding where response should be sent.
