Senstar Receives Lenel Factory Certification under Lenel’s OpenAccess Alliance Program
Senstar’s Network Manager integrated and certified with Lenel’s OnGuard® access control security system
Ottawa, Canada – April 4th, 2013 — Senstar Corporation today announced that it joined the Lenel Open Access Alliance Program (OAAP) and received factory certification for Senstar’s Network Manager. Senstar’s Network Manager integrates with the OnGuard® access control system and allows for seamless integration of Senstar’s perimeter intrusion detection sensors in projects that also deploy OnGuard. Senstar Shares Results of Two Major Government Testing Programs; UK’s CPNI and the US Air Force

Since its introduction to the market Senstar’s Panther II’s buried cable intrusion detection sensor has been providing reliable perimeter security for VIP and governmental facilities world-wide.
As part of its program of continual development of improved perimeter intrusion detection systems Senstar introduced a successor to Panther II, the OmniTrax system, in 2007. OmniTrax offers all the benefits of a coaxial cable buried sensor and adds the benefits of accurate ranging and meter-by-meter thresholds.

Product Retirement Notice – Perimitrax

Since its introduction in 1996 Senstar’s Perimitrax buried cable intrusion detection sensor has been chosen by customers worldwide to protect critical facilities and infrastructure sites.
As part of its program of continual development of improved perimeter intrusion detection systems Senstar introduced a successor to Perimitrax, the OmniTrax system, in 2007. Senstar delivers additional two PIDS contracts for high security prisons in Latin America
June 11th, 2012 – Ottawa, Canada – Senstar Corporation announced today that it has begun delivery of integrated perimeter intrusion detection systems (PIDS) for two high security prisons in Latin America. The projects total more than $2.4 million USD for Senstar’s Latin American subsidiary, and follow the March 5th announcement of two additional high security prison projects in Latin America of similar value.

Herndon, VA – October 3, 2011 - The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) has put into operation and continues to test the first-in-the-USA detection system that alerts drivers in real time of wildlife on highways that cause risk to motorists. The system should replace the existing, widely used, but ineffective method of static signs that inform drivers of the potential wildlife “statistic” risk, rather than informing them of the real and immediate presence of animals.
